As Production Supervisor I oversee all aspects of events at the Mission Playhouse. Along with supervising productions and managing staff, this position aides in the operation of the stage, front of house, concessions and box office.

Act as liaison between Management, Sales, Vendors, Client and PRG Divisions.
  • Bid Projects – estimate entire job: equipment, project management supervision, travel, labor, lifts, power, drayage etc.
  • Attend pre-production onsite walk-throughs.
  • Create project file: prepare and/or review all project documentation, designs and drawings.
  • Prepare PO requisitions and invoice requests.
  • Coordinate all production aspects, including building and developing systems based on client needs.
  • Provide onsite installation coordination.
  • Schedule onsite deliveries, services and personnel.
  • Monitor PRG performance to ensure consistency with contractual requirements.
  • Investigate all safety and reliability concerns.
  • Assist in developing and increasing efficiency, cost savings and revenue on projects.
  • Track all assigned projects from start to finish.
  • Develop and maintain relationships with local and national vendors.

ARTS DIRECTOR
Eagle Rock Neighborhood Council                                                                                                                        Elected April 2014 -2017

Responsibilities:
  • Conceive and implement various arts programs for Eagle Rock.
  • Collaborate with community arts programs to bring diverse arts events to Eagle Rock.
  • Budget events and work with the Council and City of Los Angeles to acquire funding.

Current Projects:
  • Partnered with Councilman Huizar’s office on LA DOT signal box mural project. Held a juried art competition to find artists for the project.
  • Reached out to Street Food Cinema to establish an outdoor classic film screening series. Developed a media campaign to create community interest and involvement.

Production Manager

Responsibilities:
  • Plan and execute fully produced ticketed events which include, 24 plays, a film festival,
                25 day theatre festival and 60+ special events annually. 
  • Hire, supervise, train and schedule all creative staff including 30+ student workers.
  • Create and oversee production budget.
  • Organize and lead all production meetings.
  • Lighting and scenic design as needed.
  • Negotiate vendor contracts and maintain insurance certifications.
  • Ensure effective communication across departments.
  • Ensure that all health and safety requirements are met.

Technical Services Supervisor

Responsibilities:
  • Acted as technical liaison between performing arts center for touring and resident clients which included: TheatreWorks, ODC Ballet and Peninsula Youth Theatre.
  • Crew supervision and training, lighting design, stage management, rigging, sound reinforcement
                and mixing, scenic building & painting, technical direction, inventory and maintenance of equipment.
